Blemished

So this was supposed to be the coolest heart shaped bowl. I glazed it this gloss red. And that was it. Except when it came out of the kiln, being the end of the semester, I had no time to reglaze it and make it darker AND LOOK AT THAT SPOT. SOMEONE else's finish got on my bowl! It's a gorgeous finish, but I did NOT want it.
In terms of where it ended up however, I am very pleased. It seems to have a sort of meaning. A perfect imperfection.
Either way, I have no idea if it's foodsafe, so I won't be using it for cereal any time soon.
